Twitter Quotes: Gabriel Landeskog on NHL 13 and Bragging Rights
Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog is one of my favorite players simply for sharing my first name. I think it's far-fetched, but wouldn't it be a great story if the rookie made the cover of NHL 13? Gabe thinks so.
Twitter Quotes: Ochocinco on Birds
I've not been on this all that often lately, and I must say I greatly miss entertaining everyone with my thoughts on sports topics. Today, I saw something on my Twitter feed posted by the all too famous (or infamous) Chad Ochocinco. And yes, profanity is used, but we're all adults here. If not, act like it ;)
When I die, I want to be cremated & fed to the birds. That way, even when I'm dead I can still shit on those who didn't like me.

Via Bolts by the Bay: Lightning Look to Continue Push
As the Tampa Bay Lightning head into Friday night, they sit six points out of the playoffs. The Winnipeg Jets are holding on to eighth place with a one point lead over rival Washington. The playoff bubble has become tighter and tighter as the season has progressed. Just 6 points separate 8th and 12th place in the Eastern Conference. The Maple Leafs have dropped off in the last few weeks, the Sabres, Jets, and our Lightning have been winning with some consistency, while the Capitals have struggled to win big games against conference rivals. However, all of these teams have a solid chance at the eighth place spot. However, for tonight, the Lightning are focused on one thing: the first place Rangers...more.

Twitter Quotes: Colin Cowherd on Apologies
Amidst an NBA All-Star Game in Orlando (20 minutes from my home) that saw Lebron James turn the ball over in the last seconds of the game, there was also talk about a single hard foul given by Dwayne Wade and received by Kobe Bryant. Kobe suffered a broken nose, and what was described as a 'minor concussion'. Wade later released an apology to his all-star counterpart. When asked on ESPN's Sportsnation if D-Wade should have apologized, Colin had this to say.
More Colin Cowherd: "Why apologize for something that was authentic?"

Twitter Quotes: Gonzalo Le Batard on Running
Gonzalo Le Betard is Dan Le Batard's father, and they both run a show on ESPN called Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable. Gonzalo always has something to say, and most of the time it is something that is humorous. This quote explains how to do something that seems pretty pedestrian, but is difficult for some..
Gonzalo Le Batard: "If you want to run, make sure you have both feet on the ground!"

Twitter Quotes: Jacoby Ellsbury on Jason Varitek
Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek announced today that he would announce his retirement on Thursday. Varitek has certainly been at least one of the faces of the franchise for as long as been there, and there is no doubt the league will miss him. Jacoby Ellsbury shares his thoughts.
Official release here.
Tek is the epitome of hard work and dedication...he will be missed in our clubhouse. It's been an honor to be his teammate. #captain

Twitter Quotes: Colin Cowherd on Idiots
As you all should know, my favorite sports radio personality is ESPN's Colin Cowherd. I heard him say something this morning on his ESPN Radio Show The Herd that was both interesting and humorous.
"4% of the population are idiots, and shouldn't dictate our rules and policies" - Colin Cowherd.
