My Take On Sid The Kid

Sidney Crosby has been a poster boy of the NHL since he first broke into the NHL. Thankfully, a better looking man named Steven Stamkos is slowly stealing the show from Sid.

Alright, in all seriousness now, Sidney Crosby has been battling concussions since January. I read an article on NHL.com about his condition (I'll post the link at the end of the article) and I found out one thing: he's right where he was when he started practicing during the playoffs. Which begs the question: will he be ready to play up to the astronomical standard that we as fans have set?

My take on Sidney Crosby: this will be anywhere between an average season and a below average season for Sid the Kid. Sure, he may seem super human, but concussions bother even the best players in any sport. Crosby won't be back to full strength until late this season, or next season.
