Ovi Steps Up To The Plate...

I absolutely LOVE videos like this! Alex Ovechkin isn't that bad of a hitter actually! Yesterday, Ovi joined the Orioles for batting practice and threw out the first pitch. I must say, I am impressed. After a few ugly swings and misses, along with a few late swings, Ovi lined the ball crisply into center field as if he had been playing baseball for as long as he's been playing hockey. As he communicated with the fans after BP, we see that Ovechkin has a pretty good sense of humor.
